Hands On PLC Trainers/Training

Divelbiss Corporation in Fredericktown, Ohio has been supplying industry
with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) since 1976. The shortage of
qualified technical personnel experienced by our own organization caused
us to develop more affordable hands-on teaching aids for PLCs and Ladder
Logic Programming by utilizing hardware we are already supplying to
industry. We, here at Divelbiss Corporation, are committed to helping
increase the pool of technical talent available to industry. The
Education Tools we've created bring the cost of the combined hardware
and courseware to under $200.00 per student.

The hardware supplied consists of a standard production model of our
Solves-It! Plug-in PLC and the mating simulator board used by our
industrial customers for program development. This hardware combination
is quite compact, making it portable enough for desktop use which helps
free up valuable lab space for more complex teaching projects.

The Technical Support team at Divelbiss has conducted training seminars
and in-plant training of client's personnel for nearly as long as we
have been building PLCs. They have drawn on this experience to develop a
course of study comprised of 16 modules which, taken in order, build on
one another to teach the basics of PLCs and programming in Ladder Logic
with Function Block. The textbook is fully illustrated and workbook
examples are taken, in most part, from our own customer files.
